Apparently it overwrites a key QuickBooks file and QuickBooks canít start up due to the corruption. I decided to have her try the easiest step first, which was to repair the QuickBooks installation.

removed registry entries for Intuit as suggested in some boards that did not work either. 5. Error 3371 Status Code 11118 Quickbooks 2016 Thanks to those that posted the previous suggestions. removed QuickBooks Pro and reinstalled. Choose Quickbooks and choose Repair instead of Remove.
