With psexec it works as psexec -s \\targetserver \\networksshare\somebatfile.bat My user just has to have administrative permissions on targetserver and read access to \\networkshahe. If I use Remote script/process then no output is read from nowhere and BAT is not executed. Executing BAT file from PSExec works. Use task manager or Process Explorer in order to find out the sessionID, please.HTH,SvenBomwollen SvenBomwollen Members Profile Send Private Message Find Members Posts Add to Buddy List Senior Member Joined: 29 http://caribtechsxm.com/error-code/psexec-reg-exited-with-error-code-1.php

I have also tried without using "domain\" before the user names. If the anser is anything newer than Win XP SP3, then you may have to add the psexec option -i sessionID to your commandline, where sessionID will have to be replaced The same error occurs with any command including cmd.

What Is Psexec Error Code 1 The firewall is off and I am using full admin rights to both the workstation and the server. can you enable WinRM for these servers and execute your cmd shell(s) that way? –HopelessN00b Jun 27 '14 at 18:23 We're exploring other techniques (PowerShell, WinRM, RDP), but in BatchPatch will reach out to the network share and get the .bat file, and then BatchPatch will copy that .bat file to the target computer and execute it.

Why do units (from physics) behave like numbers? I am currently connected on my desktop with domain\user1 and the psexec-command ends successfully with user1. What I need is for domain\user to be able to execute Z:\folder1\folder2\execute.bat. I need this to be executed from a remote system (WS1), but need it to run on the server (FS1). his comment is here Keep in mind that on Windows server 2008 and higher OS UAC is activated by default and requires that you use an elevated command prompt for multiple operations.
Ipconfig /registerdns must be run in elevated mode.
