Before the problem it just boot right up with out the request. I am hoping it is my hard drive that is to blame and not my motherboard. XP Professional. What does it mean?

Disabling one controller in BIOS will result in a boot error if you disable the one with the disks attached (no drives found or some such error). my question here is did you just fix the master boot record, or what did you repair in particular or was there a giant magic repair button? Unfortunately nVidia motherboards using SATA/RAID have this problem too, but nVidia is being stubborn and won't admit to the problem. I don't see what that would have to do with data corruption from overclocking failure. Anyway my system is fine, accept when I am gaming and it just does the same as before and crashes during game. Mines at 3.43Ghz and able to install the OS without issue but some have issue's trying it. So about 2 hours ago I uninstalled Left 4 Dead and then reinstalled it and it still crashed around 20 minutes in but this time only crashed the game and not Just wanted to add that another user is having this problem.
