Except, whenever it tries to update, it says that the PSP cannot read the disc. I have a PSP 1004 with 3.71 fw and tried the update to 5.03 so as to enable custom fw , but I cannot do the update..it keeps saying "The disc The time now is 08:43 PM. lulz, nope, I didn't know.
I get to the install screen and I get the following error: The Memory Stick could not be read. Thank you for your reply and help and hopefully I will get some resolution somewhere soon . If that's really true, I think your PSP might potentially be broken in some part. While Jean is a unisex name in the US, I've know far more girls named Jean than guys, so probably most people think of Jean as a girl first. You can have a full, robust conversation about custom firmwares without ever discussing, alluding to, or guiding someone into emulation or piracy. I was recently playing MHFU and my character got corrupted so I had to format the stick before I could play again. If he has a problem with his PSP and Custom Firmware, perhaps he should take it to a forum that deals with PSPs and Custom Firmware? If you cancel, you may not be able to start the PSP system.
WTF. I just looked at your infraction and I'm pretty sure you earned that red card for explicitly promoting emulation, which IS against the rule. For the record, though, that rule you just quoted was absolutely in place when those threads existed. I will post something better, later but i suspect it will be the same as what others have said.
